Pizza Pies

I just tried to order a pizza from the Domino's in Springville, Utah. Do I live in Springville...No. It wasn't until an hour after I had placed my order when I realized that they were not bringing me my pizza and wanted me to drive to Springville to pick it up! This was at 10:57 and they closed at 11:00. I had to have my roommate call and cancel the order because I was so embarrassed. Needless to say I will not be eating pizza tonight.

Weird Weather

Five hours ago it was 58 and perfectly sunny outside. Now it is 28 and a blizzard. This temperature swing poses a problem in getting dressed for the day.

All Dressed Up With Somewhere To Go

I got a phone call yesterday from the volunteer office at the hospital inviting me to the hospital's annual NICU fundraiser gala this Friday. It was a little surprising to me that I would be invited because its $150 a plate and who is going to spend that on little old...or in this case, really young me? The volunteer office apparently purchases 2 tables and then invites the staff and then a few of their VIP volunteers. Never in a million years did I imagine that they would pick me for one of the spots so of course I could not turn them down. I quickly went to my closet to find a dress appropriate to wear to an extremely formal event and then quickly realized that nothing I had would do. So I rushed over to Nordstroms, told the girl what I needed, she put me in a fitting room and brought me about 25 different dresses to try on. I picked a black cocktail length dress with a lace bodice and called it good. I will have pictures and an recap of the evening on Saturday. I can't wait to put on that dress again.
