BYU Sports

Today I put my studies aside and went to both the BYU swim meet and the basketball game. Katherine and I went to the swim meet and it was nice to be around the pool with my sister. We both decided that even though we are glad to be taking a competitive swimming break, it is hard to be out of the pool and up in the stands as spectators. Hopefully the year after next, we will be cheering for Stephen winning big in the Stephen Richards building. Yes the building on campus that houses the pool is called the Stephen Richards building. With his current time, Stephen, now 17, would have placed 3rd in the 100 Breaststroke at the meet today. We hope to be the rising cougar's biggest fans. Katherine also said that it wouldn't hurt to have Stephen on the team setting her up with his fellow teammates.

After a short break and lovely dinner out with friends we headed over to the Marriott Center for some Cougar basketball. I love basketball season. Our team is pretty good and of course BYU fans are the best.

There were many important people in attendance at tonight's game. Cosmo was there and I was really excited to get my first picture ever with him. Even Elder Oaks and Elder Nelson were enjoying an evening out in Provo with the Cougars. To my surprise, Elder Oaks is not much of a cheerer but Elder Nelson really gets into it. We beat San Diego State 77-71.
