BYU Basketball has sold out its last 6 games. The student section seats just over 5,000 and for the past 2 games it has filled up over an hour before tip-off. My friends and I got the Marriott Center at 11:00AM for a 1:30PM game and the line was already wrapped around the whole entire building. We were fortunate to have friends saving us seats or else we would have been in the rafters or even worse...at home. This week being the final home game of a spectacular season (and my final BYU basketball home game EVER) the student section had a little surprise for the rest of the arena.
Last week all the students were sent an email that had a password protected link to a special top secret video. It explained the whole "Flash Mob" dance step by step. We were asked to have one additional homework assignment for the week and learn the dance and be able to perform it during a full timeout during the second half.
